As the long Summer days are coming to an end, we move into the Fall Season where 'leaf peeping' becomes a sport, and fall hikes are enjoyed in the crisp, cool, mountain air that is getting prepared for our favorite season...
From Golden, Vail, Telluride, and Aspen, the Skea Gals have compiled a list of perfect Fall hikes, for all experience levels for you and your Skea loving pals this Fall! Remember to tag us in your adventures this Fall, @skealtd on instagram! #skealimited
1. Clear Creek Trail in Golden
2. Berry Picker Trail in Vail
For the more advanced hiker, as this is a 7.9 mile trek with 2,286 ft of elevation gain, but you will be immersed in a field of yellow Aspens come mid October! We recommend pairing this trail with the Skea Cosmic Jacket or Cosmic Vest that you can easily pack in your backpack on the way out of the trail!
3. Bridal Veil Falls in Telluride
For the hiker who chases waterfalls, year round this hike is for you! Bridal Veil Falls are the tallest free-falling falls in Colorado. 365 feet in height, these falls entice visitors and adventurers from all over the world to hike, bike, four-wheel drive, ice climb, and explore the surrounding wilderness. If you choose to hike the 1.2 miles instead of drive, we recommend pairing this adventure with a bold print Skea Leggie, Andy Quarter Zip, and your favorite hiking boots made for rough terrain, as the trail rough & uneven.
4. Ditch Trail in Aspen
For the hiker who just wants to see a scenic vista of colorful leaves In the mountains. This is considered an easy 1.7 mile, dog-friendly trail based in Snowmass Village. Pair this trail with Skea Leggie, and a cozy Apres Sweater so you can take advantage of the views, and then the brews in beautiful Aspen, CO.
If you get a chance to check out either of these hikes, send us a DM on instagram @skealtd and share your #skeastyle with a pic!
