Heather Burke: Why I Choose SKEA

Discovering SKEA was a dream come true. I love fashion, but skiing is my
first passion. Finding pretty ski wear that is performance oriented had my
name all over it. As a ski journalist, I travel the globe and I need
bright, beautiful, packable performance ski wear.

My favorite SKEA outfit
is the Didi Parka -  in a gorgeous blue, its fitted, with technical
wicking and weather resistant fabric, plus it has lots of pockets for lift
ticket, phone, lipstick, money, and the crowning glory -  is the glamorous
furry hood. Matched with the fun Zebra Cargo Pants, I feel like I'm on ski
safari whether I'm crushing corduroy first tracks at Sunday Rive or in the
back bowls of Vail.

I wore this outfit to Kitzbühel in Austria, a very

fashionable alpine town - home of the Hahnenkamm, and I was the head
turner - how fun. I also love the Neon Pink Java Parka that's
reversible. I can pack it on a ski trip to the Alps, and have two jackets
in one. The Tahitian Pearl is understated while the more electric Neon Pink is
perfect on overcast days so I show up in the snow, fog. At lunch I can
flip to Pearl - so versatile.

Après ski I adore my Moyo SKEA skirt, I can slip it on quickly over my ski
tights, and feel chic but comfy.  Skiing with the guys, you don't have a
ton of time to primp - so this skirt is quick and cute, made of warm
durable ski fabric. The Cuddle Loop Faux Rabbit Fur Scarf is another go to when I'm on the go but want to look stylish for a cocktail or shopping in Aspen or Innsbruck.
Finally, can I have one more fave ..so much great SKEA ski wear. I love
the Snow Tiger base layer, I wear it when I'm not skiing and it engages
my friends and folks I've never met in conversation about skiing, its
beautiful, warm, wild and wicked fun! I'm from Maine - we say wicked as a
good thing.  I love SKEA for pushing the ski style envelope while still
being classy and active.
